“GiGi, born Perle van Schalkwyk in Paarl, Western Cape, South Africa.After studying drama at Stellenbosch University, I soon realised that acting in South Africa was not going to buy me that house on the hill.In 1990, GiGi was born.Dancing as a showgirl for 15 years in venues around Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa, I made a name for myself.Now I own multiple business around Johannesburg and in the Western Cape in South Africa.In 2010 I won Survivor South Africa: Santa Carolina.I will inspire you to survive and thrive and to follow your dreams!In 2020 I wrote a bare all memoir called Nipple Caps & G-strings. This book has been called the hottest story of the decade.As my dad always said, “Do the thing you fear, and the end of fear is certain!”The show must go on, even if your stage is small and your spotlight dim!
